Today we see many Christians suffering from bondage to weaknesses that they battle with even though they have been saved, given a new spirit and have crossed over from death to life.

We know that when we confess our sins, repent and ask Jesus into our lives we are saved so how come we are still living in defeat in certain parts of our lives? We know that we are heirs, sons and daughters, prince and princesses of our Heavenly Father and as such we should benefit from all that Jesus has made available at Calvary e.g. healing, deliverance, protection, victory.

The Holy Spirit takes us through a journey in life dealing with different areas of our lives so as to free us from any legal claim satan has on us which can be caused by hereditary sins, curses, hurts and unforgiveness from the past or unresolved issues that require healing of our souls, we already have a new spirit we are already saved but our souls need some bandaging to heal those unresolved issues.

What we need to do is act on all that Jesus has done for us and break any holds the enemy has on our lives. To do this we need to get to the root cause of the problems.

satan gains entry into our lives by unrepented sin, any unrepented sin gives satan a legal entry into our lives and he will come to steal kill and destroy if we do not take action.

Some of the other areas he gains entry are by;

Worshiping other gods (You can do this by having statues of other gods,or anything to do with the occult- witchcraft, freemasonary,false religions, astrology, consulting mediums,new age etc).

Disrespect for parents:- the commandment to honour your parents comes with a condition that by doing so all may go well with you, Forgive and show them honour because no matter what they may have done and they may have been hurt or had difficult upbringings in their past that may have made them with their problems, we can still honour them and choose to forgive them as without them we wouldn't have been born.

Words spoken by someone in authority to you:- The power of words is another topic, words can either curse or bless, words spoken out loud are very powerful, The world was created by the spoken word.

Curses spoken by those who worship satan

Negative words spoken about yourself causing self imposed curses.

Words that gossip, slander, complain and criticise others

Prayers that condemn and manipulate, (manipulation is a form of witchcraft)

Murder

Abortion

Theft

Fornication

Adultery

Homosexuality

Perjury

Legalism

The first curse came in at the garden of Eden when Adam and Eve disobeyed God and ate of the forbidden fruit, This was the first disobedient act and shows us it is acts of disobedience and not relying on God that causes us the problems, we try to rely on ourselves the flesh but instead we need to rely on God walk with him talk with him and live in the spirit. 

Make your walk today a walk with God involve him and talk to him, ask him to help you in all you do and say, let your mind be God focused, think of him as omnipresent (with you) as you go about your day and be blessed.
