Mark16:17 And these signs will accompany those who
believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new
tongues.
Deliverance should be a normal part of church life, sadly it
has been missing for some time with just a handful of ministers casting out demons in Jesus name.
It is time for the church to be a place where you can
confess your darkest sins without shame and guilt, I believe Gods desire is to see his church (bride) pure, a
vessel he can use and work through with no weak areas.
Deliverance ministers are quite often those who have been
there got delivered know all the "filthy rags" there are (got the badge so to speak), so you cant shock them, they
just desire for you to know the freedom they have experienced themselves.
You have to really desire for change in your life and be very
honest about your past then the deliverance minister will be able to work with you to set you free, to know
and walk deeper with God.
Every deliverance minister has gone through
deliverance their selves and has known the consequences of sin in their lives. Satan will keep telling you,
you cant confess your sin, its just too bad, and he will try to get you to keep it hidden telling you that a
Christian shouldn’t have such sins in his life, that it is shameful and you are the only one struggling with it.
Well we all know he is a liar. Freedom comes with truth.
The ministry of Jesus involved teaching, preaching, healing
and deliverance, he didn’t just preach or
teach he healed and delivered too, Church needs to operate in all of these areas to break the strongholds off of
peoples lives and be an area that people will come to for answers to their problems. Mind sets need to be changed
once deliverance is done so that the demons do not have rights to enter again, so it is important to have the
teaching before and after deliverance.
When demons are cast out they are usually expelled by the
exhaling of breath, they may scream out, yawn out, cough out or even vomit out which quite often happens in cases
of cancer. Tip: (make sure you have some tissues handy!).
Demons can see through your eyes, they can take over your body
and manifest their characteristics; they can cause the body to go into different shapes, squirm or throw it on the
floor, they can talk through your voice or temporarily paralyse the body.
Deliverance is a command not a prayer, Jesus has given us all
authority in his name, we are seated in heavenly places with the father, and we are his sons and daughters. He has
commissioned us to go out and claim all that belongs to him in Jesus name. Jesus has made full provision for us, so
he is not going to do it, you need a revelation in your spirit of who you in Christ Jesus and act in faith on the
word as Gods word is truth, if you will believe ,you will do even greater things than Jesus; you can only please
God by faith. Jesus is glorified when satan is defeated by Christians.
Demons can come out at the quietest command they do not need
to be shouted at, it is the authority of the name and blood of Jesus that they recognise.
To get free you need to decide yourself that you want to be
free of any demons, if you have any sin you are ashamed of, you may want a one to one deliverance
session.
As they come up you need to allow them to come out and let
them go, you cannot be too proud to not let them manifest, God does not like pride it is an abomination to him and
demons will have a right to stay if you don’t let go of your pride.
The six steps to deliverance
1. Find the problem
2. Forgive those who have sinned against you
3. Break curses and soul ties on you and your descendants
4. Cast out demons
5. Pray for healing of those areas
6. Change the way you think and act
Pray prayers specific to the person’s life that you are
dealing with,
If a demon wont leave, it will usually be because it has a
legal right to be there, this legal right needs to be searched out and dealt with. It is quite often rooted in
unforgiveness.
Find scripture to stand on, to make positive confessions, to
help keep your deliverance and stay free. Reading scripture out loud can be a helpful weapon, It will help change
the way you think too.
