The bible is a manual to instruct us on how to live our lives. God desires the best for us and if we are obedient to his word then it is possible to have a peaceful home if we practice Godly order.

Many problems in families occur due to a Jezebel and Ahab spirit.

In my life My Ex was the Ahab man and I was the Jezebel woman.

An Ahab man does not believe in God, is disobedient to his laws and will not teach the children the bible, he is very anti Christ. They like to dominate instead of teach and instruct and can have tempers. They will not do the unpopular jobs but rather give those jobs to the jezebel wife or someone else to do for him. They are weak characters and do not like to work, they generally like sports.

A jezebel woman is usually a jezebel because she has been failed by the men in her life and suffers insecurity, inferiority and inadequacy, she wants to control others because of her inferiority, she wants her husbands approval and will over protect the male child. They scheme to get their own way, they will use their bodies to attract men and get their own way.

In my previous marriage my ex was an Ahab man and because of that i started to live by the lie of the enemy "if you want a job done do it yourself ". It would have caused too much grief to have tried asking for help so i became the one who ran the house and kids. I lost respect for him as a man and just took control as that was the easiest option.

Having married again for the second time and have a husband who loves God, i have been able to let the control go and i can enjoy being the woman God intended me to be i don't have to control anymore as i am secure in his love for me. He is a hard working man who runs the house, he is a early riser and will get up at 5am to put Christ first in his life each day, he is happy to teach and instruct rather than dominate and my children have benefited so much from his council.

When you have an Ahab man and a Jezebel woman you tend to have Ahab boys and Jezebel girls. My children are now seeing a different way of living and changing their thinking. Peace has come to the house and that is all because the proper family Godly order has come into effect.

The order is:

communication with God through Jesus Christ first who is Lord of the house.

Husband is then priest and head of the house obeying Christ Jesus and should love his wife as Christ loved the church.

The wife should be his help meet and submit to his leadership loving him and God.

The children should obey and honor the parents.

When the man does not fullfill Gods divine order by not becoming the head/priest of the house and shows a lack of concern being unkind unloving and harsh, the wife will loose respect for the man and no longer trust his leadership. The man should love his wife and submit to God to have well balanced children and a peacefull home.
