Freedom Is for Believers, Too

Why Christians still struggle—and how God invites us into wholeness

Many believers love God, read the Word, and serve faithfully—yet still wrestle with fear, anxiety, addiction, shame, rejection, or depression. And somewhere along the way, they start to wonder: "Shouldn’t I be free by now? ” Why

am I still struggling if I’ve already given my life to Christ?”

If you’ve ever asked that, you’re not alone—and you’re not less spiritual. You’re simply in need of the same thing we all need at some point: inner healing and deliverance.

Salvation is the beginning, not the end

When we give our lives to Jesus, our spirit is made new—we are born again. But our soul (mind, will, and emotions) often needs time, truth, and intentional healing to be fully renewed. Deliverance is part of the believer’s ongoing walk with Jesus.

You can be saved and still struggle. You can love Jesus and still have areas of your life where the enemy has gained a foothold—through trauma, sin, unforgiveness, generational iniquity, or lies you’ve believed. That’s why Jesus said in John 8:32, “You shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”

Deliverance Is Part of the Gospel

Jesus didn’t just preach salvation—He healed the sick, cast out demons, and set captives free.

“These signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons…” —Mark 16:17

Deliverance was normal in the early Church. It’s not weird or extreme—it’s biblical, loving, and necessary for those who want to walk in total freedom.

Freedom Is a Process of Healing and Restoration

It’s not about striving or trying harder—it’s about yielding to the Holy Spirit and letting Him heal the broken places. Sometimes that means addressing spiritual roots, forgiving deeply, renouncing lies, or closing doors to past bondage.

God is not disappointed in your struggle—He wants to meet you in it. He came to heal the brokenhearted and to set the captives free. That includes believers, too.

Ready to Walk in Freedom?

If you feel stuck or spiritually weary, you're not alone—and you're not beyond healing. Jesus paid for your wholeness—spirit, soul, and body.
